MCAR stands for Multi Caliber Air Rifle, and that is the point: one receiver, four calibers, two barrel lengths. The hunting version runs a 30-inch barrel at 14 pounds, feeds from a 650cc tube, and regulates externally. On the 7,000 psi package a .58 with a 38-inch barrel reaches 1,000 FPE.
