Bullpup Air Rifles

Why a bullpup

A bullpup puts the action behind the trigger, which buys you barrel length without the overall length. A 24-inch barrel ends up in a rifle that handles like a carbine, and on a PCP that counts for more than usual, because barrel length is where a good deal of your velocity comes from.

The trade-offs are real though. The trigger runs through a linkage, so it rarely feels as crisp as a conventional one. The magazine sits close to your face. And the balance moves rearward, which some shooters love offhand and others never get on with. Worth handling one before you decide it's your format.

Entry-level bullpups are where a lot of people start, and the format is most of the reason why. What's here runs from regulated .22 through .30 for pest and field work up to big bore bullpups in .45 and above, so picking the chassis doesn't lock you into one kind of shooting.
