QILIN-BP Bullpup 300 CC 24 inch
I have purchased many AEA air guns, and have been doing so since their introduction into the US Market. While most have been solid built shooters, most of them required a little tinkering out of the box for optimal performance. A lot of times, that "tinkering" was well beyond normal tuning. Well...Not this one. The sleek lines, the solid feel.the features for the price! Lets talk performance out of the box...Outstanding power! (It wants heavier ammo) very good accuracy at 50 yards. QTR sized groups, full mag (in my case .25 cal-19 shots), with the right ammo (JSB , AEA, and FX did very well) . Now some cons...the hammer spring in this gun is too strong for it (should be lighter), The gun ships with the HS turned at it's lowest. You can ONLY adjust up. As another reviewer mentioned, this would not be as big a problem if you could adjust the regulator, the only way to do that is to dis assemble the rifle, which will void the warranty??? (Northtac needs to be clear on this). The only other issue I see so far is that my pellet probe Oring blew in the normal course of shooting.( very easy to get to and replace). The Northtac team was VERY responsive, and shipped me replacements...(They should add a small bag of common replacement Orings..which a lot of manufacturers are now doing). Other than that, This rifle has LOADS of potential to be a fantstic , powerful nail driver. I am very pleased with it so far, and I would recommend buying one!

Qilin bp 24" 300cc
Ok so I was a little skeptical buying a brand new rifle from a company brand new to pcp rifles. With that said I am so glad I decided to buy this rifle. The employees at northtac have been nothing but amazing to deal with so far. Any and all issues weather the guns issue or my own have been taken care of immediately. Johnathan one of the people that work at northtac has become a friend over the past week or two. He has been amazing. As far as this rifle goes I love it. I have a few pcp air rifles and this one even though it doesn't have a large shot count has become my favorite to shoot. After I cleaned the barrel it shoots everything slug or pellet very accurately. I put a red dot on this rifle and i am still able to hit a 1.8" target at 100 yards with the red dot. Of i lost all of my pcp rifles today the qilin bp would be the first one I would replace. This rifle prefers the heavier ammo. I have a .22 caliber which i have shooting the .2165 nsa slugs i have tried the 17.5,20.2,23, and 24.8 grain slugs from nsa and it stacks the 23 and 24.8 gr pellets one on top of the other. And the 17 and 20 grain are within a half inch at 75 yards. As far as pellets go i have tried the JTS 22.07 gr which are flying at a crazy speed 1077fps accurately. I have been able to hit my 100 yard 2" target every shot with a red dot. Other pellets i have tried are the JSB 25.39 both the deep and shallow versions. It was not at all pellet picky with the pellets I have here. It shoots the 24.39 gr JSB's at 970 fos. I think it really wants to have the 33.9 gr .22 pellets shot thru it. Which will be the next weight pellet i buy for this rifle. If you are skeptical like I was there is no need for that. I highly recommend this rifle and this company. My rifle did have a very very slow leak when it arrived but it was simple to fix. All it needed was a tiny turn of the plenum guage and it hasn't leaked since. And im guessing it probably wasn't leaking down at sea level i live almost 10,000' up in the mountains. So needless to say i think everyone that is inserted in pcp should own one of these rifles. If I had to give a negative the only thing I can think of is in the owners manual it states if you open the rifle you void the warranty. And the only way to turn the rifle up or down is to open up the rifle. But it did come with the regulator set to about 175 bar. I would like to turn it down to get a better shot count but I dont want to biod the warranty.
